“Laser Lynx” Pet Project
Soon after launching their vibrant, quirky brand, Cablelynx saw a fun opportunity to engage with their community while showing off their new look. The big idea? Sharing their “Laser Lynx” mascot with local pet lovers as part of a sponsorship with KLTV 7, a local news station that created a Pet Project app for people to share photos of their furry friends.
Multiphase Brand Awareness Campaign
This project was requested soon after Cablelynx’s external brand launch and was a prime opportunity to spread awareness of the new brand. Pivot developed a multi-phase strategy to keep the creative fresh and engaging across KLTV 7’s app and Cablelynx’s social media.

Everyone loves a cat video!
Seriously: a 2015 survey found that cats drive 15% of internet traffic. Pivot’s creative team leveraged the internet’s love of cat content to develop fun and meme-worthy video and banner ads folks would see whenever they engaged with KLTV 7’s Pet Project.

Results
Awarded Best Brand Campaign (providers with more than 50,000 subscribers) by the Mid-America Cable and Telecommunications Association
The Pet Project campaign garnered 585.5K impressions and 862 clicks on KLTV 7’s app during the run of the campaign, from May to September 2024. During this same time period, Cablelynx’s digital platforms (YouTube, targeted display ads, news preroll in Longview, and gaming apps) saw 13.24M impressions and 265.97K clicks from the Pet Project campaign.
The videos were a hit internally and externally, prompting Pivot and Cablelynx to share the videos beyond of KLTV 7’s app, including on Cablelynx’s social media.
