Data collection

With a clear project plan, we send out surveys or complete phone interviews to develop quantitative data. For qualitative studies, we recruit and schedule participants, then conduct sessions.

  • Surveys – online, phone or mail
  • In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) – in person, by phone or via webcast video
  • Focus groups – in person or via webcast video

Analysis of findings

Research FAQs

Just in case we lost ya up there.

It depends on several factors. For projects requiring statistical representation of larger populations, online surveys are most economical, especially if plenty of email addresses are available.

When email addresses are limited or unavailable, or we need to thoroughly probe and clarify responses to open-ended questions, phone interviews are the best approach.

Focus groups are recommended when you need to explore topics in-depth and rely on the synergies of a group discussion to uncover valuable details you may not have expected.

Once we determine the geographies you’re targeting, we’ll tap our industry-leading sources for contact information of people located within those areas, whether it’s phone numbers, emails, or location addresses.

The larger the sample size, the more accurately it represents the targeted population you want to hear from. Feasibility comes into play, however, when smaller populations are involved. Sample sizes vary by project, and we’ll collaborate with you to decide whether 60, 125, 400 or 2,000 respondents will accurately deliver the results you need.

First, we’ll schedule a kick-off meeting to confirm your information needs thoroughly. Then, we’ll proceed with questionnaire or script development, followed by data collection, data processing, report development, and the presentation of results.

Projects range from 4 weeks to 12 weeks, depending on whether you need an online customer survey, mail survey, focus groups, or phone interviews with non-customers.

At the top of this page, click “Start a Research Project” and let us know how to reach you. We’ll get in touch to schedule a conversation, learn more about your needs, and explain our process!

Excellent! We can’t wait to share your story and learn about the things that make you distinctive.
